Different Methods of Processing
Flash
This image was taken using a technique called Flash Painting where we merged multiple flash exposures into one image to get the final result. Though it creates a pleasing final image – it takes several minutes to photograph and even more to process making it less suitable for real estate photography.
HDR
Using multiple images taken at different exposures and merging them into one using HDR – this image has the best overall representation of the true lighting of the room. However as you can see with the mix of interior lighting and exterior sunlight – it creates a poor representation of the actual colours.
Rob’s Method
Using the combination of a simplified flash exposure and HDR we can create a much more realistic image with true to life lighting and colour.
Plus with our streamlined workflow you can get this result every time, quickly and efficiently.
